someday i'll get the things i deserve
like chandelier champagne and a white wash wedding gown.
i'm a few mistakes and a lot more years than the paperwork says.
i'm the girl who's learning how not to apologize first
even when i'm not wrong.
i'm maggie, or at least today i am, and i know that someday these words will be deleted or changed because nothing is permanent.
nothing, not even the ache in your heart that reminds you that you're still here.
but until that ache finally subsides
i'm going to do my absolute best
to find reasons to make it stay.
